Has the lunatic ranting of the right wing hurt the Republican party?

It seems like the more logical arguments about increasing the deficit and misuse of bailout money have been thrown out the window in favor of the old standbys of fear mongering and lies. Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, Muslim religion, Ayers, terrorist sympathizer, fake birth certificate, Death Panels, Socialism, Fascism, Nazism, and whatever 'ism' they think sounds scary have become their substitute for any substantiate debate. Is this helping or hurting their party?Has the lunatic ranting of the right wing hurt the Republican party?
Without a doubt. The moderate conservatives and fiscal conservatives have all jumped ship because far-right extremists have consumed the party: Social conservatives that want to dictate social order and advocate a Christian theocracy. Neo-Nazis, white-supremacists and survivalists that preach hate and fear towards minorities and the government. Extreme greedy capitalists that want to use government to bank roll their business sectors.Has the lunatic ranting of the right wing hurt the Republican party?
Well let's see.....

Beck....ratings through the roof! Third most listened to radio show in America!

Hannity....ratings through the roof! Second most listened to radio show in America!

Limbaugh...2 million more listeners in the last 8 months! Most listened to radio program in America!

FOX News - Nations number 1 MOST TRUSTED NEWS SOURCE and highest rating. FOX News program Red-Eye at 3 AM scores a higher viewership than CNN at 8:00 PM primetime!

Don't really think it's hurting.

Look, the truth attracts. Lies detract. People are tuning into these Truth-Tellers. Call it lunatic ranting if you will, but the majority of Americans have seen the light.

It just gets your panties in a wad, doesn't it?
Proud Dittohead -

(I can't believe you would allow yourself to be called this, but it is VERY appropriate....)

Yes it is hurting the party... Don't skew the facts.. FOX has a CONCENTRATED audience... Republicans approval ratings are lower than they were during the Bush years... Less than 20% is not a good thing.

And people are not attracted to Fox like you think. And not all people that listen to these nuts are fans... Alot of them are other radio and tv jockeys and looking for comedy material......
Yes, and it's highly entertaining to see the party try to keep a serious face, but it's truly sad to see such ignorance in this ';civilized'; nation.
They don't understand that one of the reasons that Obama got the award was for the very reasons you point out. The world, democrats and the majority of Americans see through them. They think everyone else is as stupid as they are.
Yes unless you are a right wing loony people can see right through all this bull crap
I think so.
you call it lunatic ranting. i call it the truth
