I am having a project for English class. We basically choose any topic appropriate for school, discuss and talk about it. Then in the end ask the class some questions. They should be thoughtful, opinion questions. Can someone suggest for me a topic. My brain is not working right now. I prefer to rant because I am a ranter, but simply discussing works too.Need Controversial topic to discuss/rant?

Some really contrroversial topics are: abortion, the death penalty, or immigration or something.
I had something like that in 10th grade as far as I remember. Many students reported about artists, I recall one talking about 9/11. My project was about aliens and area 51 - B+ - so even with the crappiest crap you can score (depends on the teacher!!!- mine was quite open minded)
