Rant about the state of the world today. and your opinion?

People today think its more important to like right and be accepted than have a few brain cells.


i mean people used to be more clever and bothered about these kindof things, and clever people were admired and celebrities, but today peoples celebrities are the ones that party all night, have a perfect image, the best boyfriend and get drunk all the time. i watched idiocracy recently. this is really what are world is coming to. i reckon all the women will be servants or hookers and the men slob about all day drinking beer.

you are so right -- i retired backed ot a very small farm community and i quickly learn that it was much easier to bite my tongue than try to explain or correct some statement these local folks made!!!Rant about the state of the world today. and your opinion?
Every generation becomes wicker and wiser. Five decades ago you could leave your doors wide open. Four decades ago you could leave em closed but unlocked. Three decades ago some hippy might steal your TV and knock some things over. Two decades ago You'd be mugged and pistol whipped. One decade ago you'd be robbed, forced ot empty your bank account and ditched in a drainage pipe. Today, you'll be a pansy who fell for a ponzi scheme in which the bastard has already spent up the money and your left high and dry to pick up the pieces of your wrecked life. Each generation gets a little worse with crimes and the types of crimes but each time they do the old ones a bit smarter (in general).
