Should i get the samsung rant or lg rumor HELP?

i hear some ppl say rant some ppl say rumor but i heard the rumor breaks easily and the rant can take some hits only people say its to heavyShould i get the samsung rant or lg rumor HELP?
a rant is cool i got a rant (and a ipod touch) but a rant is better and r not heavyShould i get the samsung rant or lg rumor HELP?
As a previous answerer said, there is something wrong with the software. I saw user reviews saying the software fails but got it anyway. big mistake

I had the rant, and did lots of research so I know what i'm talking about

I currently have the rumor2 and I also did alot of research so I know what i'm talking about.

Rant: full keyboard yes, its nice. the design isnt that good though. 3 problems

1. the keys are stiff. they were too stiff for me

2. it is pretty chunky. bigger than the rumor2

3. It is GLITCHY! I've went through 2 rants in the past month after upgrading. I saw on other reviews how people would complain about it, but i got it anyway. Me and my sister got the same phone and we both had to take them back because they were glitchy. problems include dropped calls, freezing when you are trying to unlock it, and distorted graphics.

I now have the LG Rumor 2. the Rant is heavier and feels sturdier (but what good is sturdyness if the software glitches?). I've dropped my rumor twice, once on tile flooring, and it didnt get scratched or break. The rumor2 doesn't have as many features, but the look and feel of the keys, keyboard and entire phone is better (to me), and It hasn't glitched up once.(i've had it for over a month so far). it has a basic music player and excels at messaging. It has a deceent camera with many effects but the camera doesnt record video. The pictures though are good and detailed enough to post on sites like facebook or myspace. If you need internet, an advanced music player (like making playlists and stuff), and video, you should look at a different phone.

extra note. I had to get an early upgrade from my last phone because it started to glitch. surprise. it was made by samsung also

double note: when people review phones, they use them for about a month or so, so it really doesn't determine how long it will last.

and remember, when you first get your phone make sure to figure out all of the customization options on your phone so you know it has what you want (such as assigning pictures to contacts.) You'll be using it for the next 2 years.

Sprint has a 30 day return policy, so if you don't like the phone or it crashed/acts weird, you can return it for an exchange of a different phone or your money back.

also, the Rant's price recently changed from $50 to free. It just came out around september last year. The 1st rumor is still $30 and came out in 2007! that says something doesn't it?
i had the rumor and the first week i had it it broke, it was a problem with the programing, so i got another one, and that one wouldn't hold memory, and it was just more trouble then it was worth!!!!! i would say go with the RANT
rants r not heavy im holding my now and its pretty light in my mind and it has more features and blah blah blah....watch a video on rant vs rumor2 on youtube
