Samsung Rant-- why isn't picture mail working?

I have not been receiving picture mail that has been sent to me from various phones.


When I try to access my sent mail it says ';The request could not be processed because the network connection could not be read';

Even if you don't have a plan for pic messaging, you should be able to use it on a per use pay basis.


Is the internet blocked on the phone? You need that to be active to get messages.


Is it an unlocked phone? If it is unlocked then the internet settings aren't right, and it cannot connect to the right server for you to get the messages.


You may also have pic messaging blocked, but it sounds more like an internet issue than an actual messaging problem.


Go into the internet settings for the phone, and make sure they are correct.


I just went through sprint.com, and couldn't find what the settings are supposed to be, just where in the phone they are. Call your carrier to make sure they are correct and active.Samsung Rant-- why isn't picture mail working?
If you're a Rant user, go into your settings, then messages, then auto delete, and activate your auto delete. This will set your in-box so it can hold no more than 50 picture messages. I had my friends send pics and that originally locked my phone up on Oct 29th were auto deleted

well a few things there





1) do you have the pic messaging on your plan because if not then you can not use pic messaging





2) try to reset you phone by taking out the battery and putting it back in maybe there was a network failure so in doing this is should reset everything
