Samsung Rant - Can I have the ringer on for when i get calls and have it just vibrate when I get text messages?

Settings%26gt;Sounds%26gt;Volume%26gt;Advanced%26gt;Text Message%26gt;Separate Volume.








Set it to ';Ringer Off+Vib';





And make sure the ';Always Vibrate'; box is checked.

I'm not sure if you can do that or not, but you can have it ring and vibrate at the same time.


I have a Samsung Rant, and although I'm not that much of an expert on it, I'm not sure that's possible.

You can for my phone (Samsung Soul). I dont know if the working of Samsung phones is pretty much the same or not, but you could try this :-)..

I don't think so. I tried to do that with mine and was only able to make it so that they have separate ring tones. There's not a vibrate option in the ring tone selection.
You can with my Samsung but it is an old one lol
